Medicare Policy

We do not bill Medicare because their policies and guidelines for chiropractic care are illogical, frequently changing and very frustrating for the patient and clinic.
• Medicare requires that x-rays to be taken, but refuses to pay for the x-rays.
• Medicare requires an exam, but refuses to pay for the exam. 

• Medicare also does not pay for any physical therapy done in a chiropractic office. Therefore, the patient is responsible for services such as heat pack, ice pack, ultrasound, massage therapy, electrotherapy and spinal traction.
• Medicare does pay for chiropractic manipulation, but the amount they are willing to pay is often lower than the fee charged, causing the patient to be responsible for a portion of this service.  

Our policy for Medicare patients is much more straight-forward and logical. This policy will also allow the patients to receive all of the treatment that they need at a great price.
• The fee for each visit, including the examination, all therapies and chiropractic manipulation, will be a total of $35.00
• The following additional services will be your responsibility, if they are needed and are not included in the $35.00 per visit fee: 

  - X-Rays 

- Supplies (braces, heel lifts, pillows, all temp-packs, etc.) 

- Massage Therapy
